The NASDAQ OMX Futures Exchange (NFX) offers trading of World Currency Futures. NFX futures contracts are cash settled, not deliverable contracts.

NFX World Currency Futures

NFX World Currency Futures have the same underlying contract size as NASDAQ OMX PHLX World Currency Options, creating “mirror” contracts to allow traders the choice to place foreign exchange strategies in either securities or futures accounts. The size of the contract coupled with U.S. dollar settlement allows for simple calculation of futures profit and loss. For market makers, WCFs and WCOs held in a cross-margin account at the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) may reduce capital commitment versus paying margin on both sides.

The Market Operations group provides real-time operational oversight of NFX during each Trading Day from 7:15 a.m. (ET) until 5:00 p.m. (ET), and acts as a central point ocontact to direct member’s inquiries.
