What is changing?
NASDAQ OMX PHLXSM (PHLX®) will change its trading symbols for Options on U.S. Treasuries, effective Monday, May 20, 2013. Therefore, beginning that day, the newly issued options based on the newest "On-The-Run" U.S. Treasuries auctions in May will trade under the symbols USI and TYI.

What is the BondDesk On-the-Run Midpoint Value?
The BondDesk On-The-Run Treasury Midpoint Value (BTM) will be the midpoint of the BondDesk real-time bid and ask quotations for the 10-Year Treasury Note and the 30-Year Treasury Bond. The BTM will represent an indicative value for the U.S. Treasuries. This value will be disseminated via OPRA and will become available on Monday, June 24, 2013.
How will value be disseminated?
The BTM will be disseminated over OPRA lines and will carry the same symbol as the current On-the-Run Treasury Option symbol. For example, when the value becomes available in late May or early June 2013, there will be a BTM for the 30-Year Treasury Bond, with the symbol of USI, and a separate BTM for the 10-Year Treasury Note, with the symbol of TYI.
