Nasdaq is currently undergoing a technology refresh on the Nasdaq Options Market (NOM) trading system. State-of-the-art hardware and software architecture will be deployed in order to achieve a more efficient and more robust infrastructure to support the growing needs of our participants. The technology refresh is part of Nasdaq’s commitment to leading the industry in technology standards.

NOM participants will be required to make network and IP changes in order to connect to the new system via their Specialized Quote Feed (SQF), Ouch to Trade Options (OTTO), Clearing Trade Interface (CTI), OTTO Drop, Fix Drop, Itch to Trade Options (ITTO), and Best of Nasdaq Options (BONO) ports. Nasdaq Subscriber Services will provide new IP addresses at the end of April 2016, in order to give our participants ample time to update their network configurations.

Nasdaq anticipates migrating to the new technology in August, 2016. Participant UAT dates and a detailed migration schedule will be released in the coming months.
