Pursuant to PHLX Rule 1080(a)(i)(C), on Monday, June 3, 2019, Nasdaq PHLX will introduce a FIX Interface Protocol for the Floor Based Management System (FBMS). FBMS is the order management system used by participants on the PHLX Trading Floor. The FBMS FIX Interface Protocol is an optional interface which may be used to submit orders to a specified Floor Broker’s FBMS for handling on the PHLX Trading Floor. The FBMS FIX Interface Protocol will provide firms with electronic order entry directly into the FBMS with order management capabilities as well as electronic execution and order status updates as the orders are exposed on the PHLX Trading Floor.

Testing Availability and Conformance

The FBMS FIX Interface Protocol will be made available to participants in the Nasdaq Test Facility (NTF) on Monday, January 7, 2019. FBMS FIX Interface Protocol Specifications can be found HERE.

Conformance testing is required in the NTF environment prior to participants gaining full production access to FBMS.

The NTF environment will be available with technical support from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET.

Participants can request access to NTF and production ports by submitting the PHLX Port Request Form to Nasdaq Subscriber Services.
