Beginning Monday, November 11, 2019, Nasdaq ISE, Nasdaq GEMX, and Nasdaq MRX will begin accepting requests for access to an optional external Kill Switch application. The Kill Switch application will allow members to request cancellation of orders and/or purge of quotes by market participant identifier or a group of identifiers. The Kill Switch application provides an additional risk management tool in the event of a member’s system issue that prevents access to their quote or order protocols. Today, a Kill Switch application is available to members on Nasdaq PHLX, The Nasdaq Options Market (NOM), and Nasdaq BX Options. To request access, please fill out the Front End Request Form.
