The purpose of this alert is to advise members of a Precise upgrade. The latest Precise release will provide changes to support the ISE system migration to Nasdaq INET technology. The new version of Precise 5.13.2.3 is an optional release that will be available on the ISE website for installation as of August 7th, 2017. Smart-Update users will be automatically updated. Stand-Alone users should follow the install instructions noted below.
Notable Changes in this release: Kill Switch: With the system migration to INET, Kill Switch is only supported at the firm mnemonic level. Kill Switch at the user level, i.e. connection level, is no longer supported. An upgrade to the new version of Precise is required in order to continue to access Kill Switch capabilities. Notifications: With the latest release of Precise, users are provided the option to receive the “you are out” pop-up notification for orders routed to INET. Without upgrading to the latest release of Precise, users will not receive the visual pop-up, however the order continues to be viewable in the Order Status View noting the order is in a cancelled state. Install Instructions: Remove all previous versions of Precise from your computer. Go to http://www.ise.com/options/precise/install-precise/ and then type in “precise” in the name and password fields. The new version of PrecISE is 5.13.2.3. In the box on the right is a link to the software downloads; the recommended install is “PrecISE Smart Updater”, but if your firm does not allow automatic updates to new software releases, please click on “PrecISE Stand Alone” version. Once the software is installed and you launch the application, please put in the host settings as precise.iseoptions.com or alternatively, 74.120.84.118 if you connect through the internet or 207.231.197.37 if you are a direct connect. Members must have full administrator rights (Including Windows 7) users to the folder on which PrecISE is being installed.
