Nasdaq Needs Your Feedback on the Head Trader Game
|
Get a Nasdaq T-Shirt or football by trying it out! If you are a Nasdaq® trader, then we want you to play the Nasdaq Head Trader Game and send your feedback to asknasdaq@nasdaq.com. If you are and you do, then we’ll send you a free Nasdaq T-shirt or football. The Head Trader Game simulates the experience of a Nasdaq Market Maker buying and selling stocks in a screen-based market environment. It attempts to put the player in the shoes of a professional trader. The simulation is based on an original model and software developed by two academic leaders in the field of trading mechanisms. Nasdaq also worked with Knowledge Pointe, LLC, a leader in delivering educational products and services to the securities industry. The game is being used by universities to teach students about Nasdaq and trading on a dealer market. We are looking for Nasdaq traders who will play the game and give us their feedback as to whether the game accurately replicates a true trading environment. If the game is not up to snuff, we want to know how traders would improve the game to make it more realistic. After playing the Nasdaq Head Trader Game, found on the NASD® Web site, e-mail your comments and suggestions for improvement along with your name, address, firm name, CRD number, and gift selection to asknasdaq@nasdaq.com by January 6, 1998. In return, the first 50 Nasdaq traders that respond will receive a short-sleeve Nasdaq T-shirt or football (your CRD number is required to receive the gift). Please be advised that it takes at least 20 minutes to complete the game, and you need to have Shockwave’s Authorware Web player installed on your Internet browser. If you do not have the software, a link is available for you to download it. Please allow two to four weeks for delivery of the T-shirt or football. |
