    • In the United States, Daylight Savings Time will end on Sunday, November 2, 2014, at 2:00 a.m., Eastern Time (ET).

When will Daylight Savings Time end in 2014?

In the European Union, Daylight Savings Time, or Summer Time, is scheduled to end on the last Sunday in October. In 2014, European clocks should revert to Standard Time on Sunday, October 26, 2014, at 1:00 a.m., GMT.

In the United States, Daylight Savings Time is scheduled to end on the first Sunday in November. In 2014, United States clocks should revert to Standard Time on Sunday, November 2, 2014, at 2:00 a.m., ET.

When should my firm adjust system clocks for Daylight Savings Time?

For the Nasdaq European-based products, firms should adjust their system clocks to reflect the time change before the start of trading on Monday, October 27, 2014.

For the Nasdaq U.S.-based products, firms should adjust their system clocks to reflect Standard Time before the start of trading on Monday, November 3, 2014.

How will the different start and end dates for Daylight Savings Time impact the Nasdaq Index Products?

On the Nasdaq Global Index Data ServiceSM (GIDS), the European index values are calculated during Nasdaq Nordic market hours, and the U.S. index values are calculated during The Nasdaq Stock Market (Nasdaq) hours. Nasdaq Nordic markets follow the Central European Time (CET) standard, and Nasdaq follows U.S. ET.

Due to the different start and end dates for Daylight Savings Time in the U.S. and Europe, Nasdaq distributors will see a one-hour difference in the GIDS schedule during the week of October 27th.

Where can I find the market hours for each of Nasdaq's markets?

Nasdaq posts its system hours on the individual market websites. For convenience, hyperlinks to the trading schedules are listed below:
