At a special meeting held on March 31, 2021, shareholders of Magellan Health, Inc. (MGLN) approved the proposed merger with Centene Corp (CNC). The merger closed prior to the market open today, January 4, 2022. In anticipation of the closing, the stock was halted immediately following the after-hours session at 8 p.m. on January 3, 2022.
