NASDAQ Adds New Reports and Enhances Broker/Dealer Data Service

  • The NASDAQ Broker-Dealer Data service is an online data center providing users access to daily, monthly and/or customized reports for their firm, including:
    • Daily Equity Trade Journal
    • Unlimited Compliance Report Cards and Monthly Volume Reports
    • Ad hoc reports such as Time and Sales, Market Maker Positions, Equity Trade Journal by Symbol and more
  • Through the remainder of 2009, NASDAQ will be redesigning and enhancing the Broker-Dealer Data service.

    • Daily Market Participant Position with Closing Quotes
  • Member firms can sign up or update existing service using our new online order form.

What is the NASDAQ Broker-Dealer Data service?

The NASDAQ Broker-Dealer Data service is an online report and data center that gives users access to daily and monthly data for their firm, as well as the ability to order customized reports including:

  • Daily Equity Trade Journal
  • Unlimited Compliance Report Cards and Monthly Volume Reports
  • Ad hoc reports such as Time and Sales, Market Maker Positions, Equity Trade Journal by Symbol and more

Users can sign-in from the NASDAQ OMX Trader website® to access and download reports as needed. An FTP download is also available for select reports.

What is changing?

Through the remainder of 2009, NASDAQ® will be redesigning and enhancing the Broker-Dealer Data service. The new streamlined service will allow users to navigate reports more easily and offer several new reports in the coming months.

What are the new reports?

  • InterACT Trade Detail
    • InterACT subscribers can add this report to view the trade detail for the statistics provided to them via the real time view of InterACT, including trades reported to the FINRA/NASDAQ Trade Reporting FacilityTM (TRFTM). Use the report to identify:
      • Late Trades
      • Open trades, trades not accepted within 20 minutes
      • Declines, cancels, step outs and more
      • Sample Report
      • Definitions
  • Daily Market Participant Position with Closing Quotes
    • This report enables NASDAQ Market Makers to confirm their end of trading day registered status, as well as their closing quotes, for each security in which they make markets on The NASDAQ Stock Market®.

Both reports will be available for web download and secure FTP access.

What is the pricing and packaging?

There are two subscription levels available based on the number of reports requested. Only FTP downloads and customized reports count toward the request total.

  • Basic Access - $130 per login/month
    • Up to 25 historical research report requests/month
  • Premium Access - $160 per login/month
    • Up to 100 historical research report requests/month
