NASDAQ OMX Markets Will Be Open for Trading on Wednesday, October 31

What you need to know:

  • On Wednesday, October 31, 2012, NASDAQ OMX will open all U.S. equity and derivatives exchanges, as well as the NASDAQ/FINRA TRF.
  • NASDAQ OMX is working with regulators to ensure that the markets operate as smoothly as possible given the circumstances caused by Hurricane Sandy.

What is being announced?

NASDAQ OMX and all of its U.S. equity and derivatives exchanges will be open for trading on Wednesday, October 31, 2012.

Do we need to do anything in advance of tomorrow's market open?

No. NASDAQ ® is running a test session today, allowing members to test connectivity. We will run a test closing auction at 4 pm. NASDAQ will be available for testing until 4:30 pm.
