As recently announced, Nasdaq is moving its Disaster Recovery (DR) site for the U.S. equities and options markets in a phased approach from Ashburn, VA to Chicago, IL beginning in August 2015. The following is a reminder of the first UAT window for customer testing of both market data and order entry for all six equities and options markets from Chicago on August 15, 2015. All Saturday testing will occur between 9 A.M. – 12 P.M. ET. Customers may refer to our DR Migration website for more detail. Sign Up Today!Customers can opt-in to the UAT by contacting Trading Services. If you require connectivity to our Nasdaq DR site in Chicago (Equinix CH4), please submit your request in the Nasdaq Co-Lo & Connectivity Console, or contact CoLo Admin for assistance. Timeline of the MigrationNasdaq will be moving the DR connectivity of its US markets according to the schedule below.
* There will be two UAT weekends for order entry testing prior to the production launch date. Following the launch, customers will be able to use their Chicago ports for production traffic even when Carteret is active. Other Nasdaq post-trade, back office and reporting services along with FINRA related services will be moved to Chicago in early 2016.
