  • NASDAQ OMX, in coordination with the other exchanges, will be offering testing symbols in production beginning February 4, 2013 to support the preparedness for the LULD Plan.
  • NASDAQ OMX encourages its members and the industry to use these dedicated symbols to test the functionalities of the new LULD Plan.

What is occurring?

NASDAQ OMX, in coordination with the other exchanges, will be offering testing symbols in production beginning February 4, 2013 to support the preparedness for the Limit Up/Limit Down Plan (LULD).

NASDAQ OMX encourages its members and the industry to use these dedicated symbols to test the functionalities of the new LULD.

What will be available and when?

NASDAQ OMX will support the LULD test symbols in production systems beginning on February 4, 2013 from 9:45 a.m., Eastern Time (ET) 3:30 p.m., ET (with the last possible halt ending at 3:35 p.m., ET)

What does my firm need to be prepared to support in production on February 4, 2013?

All firms should be prepared to receive and process both SIP and proprietary data feed services for full LULD functionality in test symbols.
