NASDAQ OMX Publishes Updated Global Data Policies and Fee Schedule

What is changing?

NASDAQ OMXSM has revised the following documents:

In order to streamline the ordering process, NASDAQ OMX now offers a single data polices document and a single fee schedule for all NASDAQ OMX data sets.

Which polices have been amended?

NASDAQ OMX has made the following changes to the data policies:

  • Updated the Delayed Data Policy
    • Reorganized data policy table now includes all data products
    • Delay timeframe of NASDAQ OMX Futures Exchange (NFX) Index data was decreased from 20 minutes to 15 minutes
  • Updated the Administrative/Development Policy
    • Includes provisions for the waiver of subscriber fees for customers in development
    • Clarifies that after the three month development waiver period customers must now report at least one subscriber/end user for each data product
  • Extended Trial Policy to all full-depth data products, such as TotalView
  • Updated the Service Facilitator Policy for clarity - Service Facilitator Application
  • Eliminated the White Label Policy for Nordic and Baltic data to provide more uniformity in the data administration
  • Updated the News Media Policy for clarity

Also, in response to feedback from market data distributors and subscribers, NASDAQ OMX has reorganized the documents, and increased readability in accordance with the plain English initiative sponsored by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). NASDAQ OMX will continue to seek additional ways to improve the policy documents and fee schedule and will announce such revisions wherever possible.

Distributors are required to begin following the new versions of the global data polices and global fee schedule as of the date the information was originally communicated.
