What you need to know:

  • NASDAQ OMX® has published an updated version of the NASDAQ OMX Global Data Policies document.
  • Distributors are required to begin following the updated Global Data Policies as of the date the information was originally communicated in previously released Data News items or Nordic GDP Weekly Newsletters.

What is changing?

NASDAQ OMX has updated the NASDAQ OMX Global Data Policies document. Distributors are required to follow the updated version of the Global Data Policies as of the date the information was originally communicated in previously released Data New items or Nordic GDP Weekly Newsletters.

In order to streamline the ordering process, NASDAQ OMX continues to offer a single data polices document for all NASDAQ OMX data products.

Which policies have been updated?

NASDAQ OMX has made the following additions to the data policies:

  • UTP Enterprise License Policy
  • Historical Data Policy and Index Policy in the Usage Reporting Policy
  • NASDAQ OMX non-U.S. Data to the Derived Data Policy

NASDAQ OMX has made the following updates to the data policies:

  • Clarifications to Nordic and Baltic Data Non-Display usage in the Non-Display Policy
  • Corporate name change of NASDAQ OMX Commodities to NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB
  • Additional Nordic Last Sale references
  • Minor clarifications to Hosted Solutions and Managed Data Solutions
  • Clarifications to the Retransmission Datafeed Policy
  • Clarification of Monthly Subscriber Fees for NASDAQ TotalView & OpenView in Administration Usage
  • OLIVER references changed to reflect the launch of the NORA, the new summary usage reporting application
  • Clarifications to the Derived Data Policy for Nordic data
  • Refined display recommendations for UTP Level 1 and NASDAQ OMX U.S. Equities
  • Clarification of RussellTick End of Day policy

In addition, in response to feedback from market data distributors and subscribers, NASDAQ OMX used the plain English initiative, sponsored by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as a guideline to improve our communication. NASDAQ OMX will continue to seek additional ways to improve the policy documents and fee schedule and will announce such revisions wherever possible.
