NASDAQ OMX Global Data Policies Update

What you need to know:

  • NASDAQ OMX® has published an updated version of the NASDAQ OMX Global Data Policies.
  • Updates to NASDAQ OMX Global Data Policies have been previously communicated in Data News Items and Newsletters. Distributors are required to follow these policies as of the effective date previously communicated.
  • All UTP Level 1 Policies were removed and placed into a separate policy document located here: UTP Data Policies.
 

Which Data Policies have been updated?

NASDAQ OMX® has updated the NASDAQ OMX Global Data Policy including the following:

  • Addition of the NASDAQ Basic® Enterprise License
  • Clarification of the Distributor Fee and Nordic/Baltic Direct Access Fee Definitions
  • Update to the Delay Timeframe for MFDS Daily List to 24 hours
  • Update to the Pricing Details, including details for Nordic Historical Data, Oslo data, TotalView, STIBOR, CIBOR and CITA fixings and Glimpse
  • Addition of The NASDAQ Options Market (BONO and ITTO) Non-Display Enterprise License for Professional usage
  • Clarification of the Non-Display policy for Nordic and U.S. Options
  • Clarification of the Nordic and Baltic Derived Data policy
  • Update to the Distribution Types to include product specific information
  • Addition of a section detailing the Nordic Delayed Distributor Fee pricing mode
  • Addition of a Data Feed Migration Usage Reporting Policy to accommodate customer requests
  • Addition of a policy for Nordic Test data
  • Removal of all UTP Level 1 Policies into a separate policy document located here: UTP Data Policies

What policies are being announced as of June 1, 2014?

NASDAQ OMX has updated the policy document for Short Interest to reflect the rule filing Delay Timeframe of “Not Eligible for Delay”. NASDAQ OMX will provide Distributors until June 1, 2014 to comply with this change. Any Distributors receiving Short Interest data that is sourced directly from NASDAQ OMX are required to pay the associated fee whether the data is received in real-time or delayed.

NASDAQ OMX has also updated the policy document to note that all NASDAQ U.S. Single Security Derived Data is fee-liable as of June 1, 2014.
