Nasdaq Futures, Inc. (NFX) Announces Two New Market Data Feeds

What you need to know:
- As was previously announced, Nasdaq® is establishing a new energy futures market, Nasdaq Futures, Inc. (NFX), that will offer competitive pricing, an innovative clearing solution and high-performance technology for futures and options based on key energy benchmarks including oil, natural gas and US power.
- NFX will offer two new direct market data feeds called NFX ITCH and NFX Auxiliary Market Data (AMD).
- Nasdaq plans to offer live data for the feeds for dress rehearsals and launch preparations beginning in mid-May 2015.

What is Nasdaq Futures, Inc. (NFX)?
NFX, the exchange group's US-based designated contract market (DCM), will leverage the exchange group's transformative Genium INET technology, and the platform will be domiciled in Chicago. The platform provides open and neutral access, and firms will be able to access the market through proprietary order management systems, broker platforms, and leading independent software vendors.
NFX will offer cash-settled energy derivatives with a transparent fee structure and the products will be cleared through The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC).
What are the NFX ITCH and NFX AMD data feeds?
NFX ITCH will provide full depth of the order book and last sale information as well as reference data messages. NFX ITCH will be offered with a companion GLIMPSE feed as a state of the market retransmission facility add-on.
NFX Auxiliary Market Data (AMD) will provide reference data messages, certain trade information as well as open interest and end of day settlement data.
Both NFX ITCH and NFX AMD will be offered in the MoldUDP64 protocol.
When will NFX ITCH and NFX AMD be available?
The feeds are available now in the NFX test environments. Further announcements will be made when additional information is available regarding launch.
What is the bandwidth recommendation for NFX ITCH?
The NFX ITCH bandwidth recommendation is 10 Mbps.
What do firms need to do to connect to NFX ITCH and NFX AMD?
New IP address information is available here.
Firms will be expected to complete the necessary agreements to receive the data:
- Data Feed Request Form - Required for all firms.
- Nasdaq Global Data Agreement - Required for all firms prior to initiation of the first Nasdaq data service only.
- System Application - Required for firms only if the data will be displayed or used in a system that is not yet approved by Nasdaq.

What are the fees for NFX ITCH and NFX AMD?
NFX ITCH and NFX AMD fees will be waived for the foreseeable future. A fee structure and implementation date of fees will be announced at a later date.
