NASDAQ OMX to Modify Dissemination Time of End-of-Day Messages for Select Indexes on RussellTick

What you need to know:

  • At the request of Russell Investments, NASDAQ OMX will modify the dissemination time for Index End-of-Day Summary messages of select Russell indexes via the RussellTickTM data feed product.
  • Effective Monday, August 27, 2012, the Russell Asian Indexes (Originator ID: RA) and the Russell European Indexes (Originator ID: RE) will be disseminated at approximately 19:00:00, Eastern Time (ET) and 19:15:00, ET, respectively.
  • Please Note: There are no message format changes to the RussellTick data feed.

What is changing?

Effective Monday, August 27, 2012, NASDAQ OMX will modify the dissemination time for the Index End-of-Day Summary messages (Category A – Type B) of select Russell indexes via the RussellTick data feed product.

Beginning August 27th, the dissemination times for the Russell Asian Indexes and Russell European Indexes will be as follows:

Russell Indexes Originator ID Current Dissemination Time NEW Dissemination Time
RussellTick Asia Indexes RA 15:30:00, ET 19:00:00, ET
RussellTick Europe Indexes RE 18:15:00, ET 19:15:00, ET

Please note: There is no change to the dissemination of the Index End-of-Day Summary messages for RussellTick U.S. Indexes (Originator ID: RU), RussellTick Global Indexes (Originator ID: RG) and Russell/Nomura Japanese Indexes (Originator ID: RN).

Will testing opportunities be available?

As there are no format changes to the RussellTick data feeds, testing will not be provided for this change.
