What is being announced?

Effective September 10th, NASDAQ OMX will begin disseminating six new indexes on the proprietary GIDS and GIDS 2.0 data feeds:

  • NASDAQ Axioma Equity-Commodity Oil Universe Index (Symbol: NQAXOILU)
  • NASDAQ Axioma Equity-Commodity Oil Universe Total Return Index (Symbol: NQAXOILUX)
  • NASDAQ Axioma Equity-Commodity Gold Universe Index (Symbol: NQAXGLDU)
  • NASDAQ Axioma Equity-Commodity Gold Universe Total Return Index (Symbol: NQAXGLDUX)
  • NASDAQ Axioma Equity-Commodity Agriculture Universe Index (Symbol: NQAXAGRU)
  • NASDAQ Axioma Equity-Commodity Agriculture Universe Total Return Index (Symbol: NQAXAGRUX)

The NASDAQ OMX Axioma Equity-Universe Commodity Oil Index is designed to track is designed to track the performance of a subset of companies engaged in oil-related activities.

The NASDAQ OMX Axioma Equity-Commodity Gold Universe Index is designed to track the performance of a subset of companies engaged in gold-related activities.

The NASDAQ OMX Axioma Equity-Commodity Agriculture Universe Index is designed to track the performance of a subset of companies engaged in agriculture- related activities.
