NASDAQ OMX Announces Change of Index Name Effective October 11, 2012

What you need to know:

  • NASDAQ OMX will change the index name of the ES Capital Risk Managed Growth Total Return Index (Symbol: RMGFX) effective prior to market open on Thursday, October 11, 2012, on the Global Index Data ServiceSM (GIDSSM).
  • NASDAQ OMX asks that all market data redistributors update their database to reflect the new index names on Thursday, October 11, 2012.
  • The trading symbols of the indexes will not change.

What is the impact to the GIDS product?

NASDAQ OMX will begin dissemination of the new index names on Thursday, October 11, 2012.

The new index name change will be as follows:
