What you need to know:

  • Nasdaq U.S. markets and the UTP Plan participants will close three hours early on Wednesday, December 24, 2014.
  • To accommodate the early closing schedule, the UTP SIP will modify the dissemination times for closing reports and end-of-day event control messages for the UTP data feeds.
  • Please note that the U.S. equity markets will also be closed on Thursday, December 25, 2014, in observation of the Christmas holiday.

What will close early?

Nasdaq U.S. markets and the Unlisted Trading Privileges (UTP) Plan participants will close three hours early on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. The early close schedule will be:

Market Session Normal Hours Eastern Time (ET) Early Close Hours (ET)
Pre-Market Trading Session 4:00 a.m. to 9:29 a.m. 4:00 a.m. to 9:29 a.m.
Regular Market Session 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Post-Market Trading Session 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What is the UTP data feed schedule for December 24th?

To accommodate the early market closing, the UTP Securities Information Processor (SIP) will modify the transmission schedule for the UTP data feeds. On December 24th, the UTP SIP will adjust the timing for messages on the following data feeds:
