What you need to know:

  • NASDAQ OMX® U.S. markets and the UTP Plan participants will close three hours early on Tuesday, July 3, 2012.
  • To accommodate the early closing schedule, the UTP SIP will modify the dissemination times for closing reports and end-of-day event control messages for the UTP data feeds.
  • Please note that the U.S. equity markets will also be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, in observation of the Independence Day holiday.

What will close early?

NASDAQ OMX U.S. markets and the Unlisted Trading Privileges (UTP) Plan participants will close three hours early on Tuesday, July 3, 2012. The early close schedule will be:

Market Session Normal Hours Eastern Time (ET) Early Close Hours (ET)
Pre-Market Trading Session 4:00 a.m. to 9:29 a.m. 4:00 a.m. to 9:29 a.m.
Regular Market Session 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Post-Market Trading Session 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What is the UTP data feed schedule for July 3rd?

To accommodate the early market closing, the UTP Securities Information Processor (SIP) will modify the transmission schedule for the UTP data feeds. On July 3rd, the UTP SIP will adjust the timing for messages on the following data feeds:
