Effective Friday, August 9th, 2024,Nasdaq will begin disseminating the following new index on Nasdaq Global Index Watch (GIW) and the Nasdaq Global Index Data ServiceSM (GIDS).

What is the new index?

The Nasdaq-100 Daily Covered Call 101 Index (NDXDC01) tracks the performance of a systematic covered call strategy. The strategy aims to generate income through periodic selling of upside participation using Nasdaq-100 Index® (NDX) call options, typically with one day to expiration.

How is the Index disseminated?

On Friday, August 9th, 2024, data recipients will receive real-time index information from the proprietary GIDS data feed with the following attributes:
