On December 9th, 2025, Walmart, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) is expected to be listed and begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the new ticker symbol WMT.

Nasdaq requests that market data redistributors update their databases to reflect the new listing market for Walmart, Inc. after market close on December 8th, 2025 and maintain historical data for WMT prior to transfer date. Additionally, please maintain historical data for the nine noted bonds below that will also be transferring to the Nasdaq Bond Market under the same ticker symbols.

What database changes do Nasdaq market data redistributors need to make to accommodate the new listing?

When the issue moves from NYSE to Nasdaq, firms will see a change in the consolidated data source for Walmart, Inc.. Please note that the consolidated market data for all Nasdaq-listed issues is disseminated via the UTP Quotation Data Feed (UQDF) and UTP Trade Data Feed (UTDF). Firms will begin to see quotation and trade data for Walmart, Inc. on UQDF and UTDF beginning in the pre-market trading hours on December 9, 2025.

For firms that report end-usage numbers by the query, Nasdaq reminds them that the Level 1, Nasdaq Basic and Nasdaq Last Sale (NLS) counts should include quote and trade queries for Walmart, Inc. (WMT) beginning on December 9, 2025.
