Nasdaq Stock Market: Global Trading Hours Testing Opportunities

To prepare for the launch of nearly continuous 23-hour, 5-day trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market beginning December 6, 2026, Nasdaq is offering the following testing opportunities.

Nasdaq Test Facility (NTF)

Beginning September 1, 2026

  • Requires NTF Night order entry and market data ports
  • Production and test symbols
  • Trading available Sunday to Thursday from 9 p.m. until the following day at 4 a.m.

Weekend User Acceptance Test (UAT)

October 2, 2026, October 16, 2026, October 30, 2026, November 6, 2026, November 20, 2026, December 4, 2026

  • Requires production Night order entry and data ports
  • Production and test symbols
  • Trading available from 11 p.m. Friday until 12 p.m. (noon) Saturday
  • For example, on Friday, October 2nd, testing will begin at 11 p.m. and run until 12 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, October 3rd.

Pre-Production Period

Beginning November 1, 2026

  • Requires production Night order entry and market data ports
  • Test symbols only
  • Trading available Sunday to Thursday from 9 p.m. until the following day at 4 a.m.
  • Market data will be broadcast for test symbols during the pre-production period
