Nasdaq Canada Introduces Basic Canada Enterprise License

What you need to know:

In response to requests for greater cost efficiency in Canadian equities data pricing, Nasdaq Canada will offer a Basic Canada Enterprise License for Investment Dealers at the rate of $100,000 CAD per month.

The Enterprise License is effective immediately, and covers unlimited distribution to Professional and Non-Professional natural persons that have a Customer Relationship with an Investment Dealer.

The Nasdaq Basic Canada Enterprise License covers TSX, TSX-V, and CSE listed securities.

Reporting on the Basic Canada Enterprise License is only required on an annual basis.

Nasdaq Basic Canada is a consolidated data feed providing an alternative solution for accessing Level 1 data for Canadian-listed securities.

  • Nasdaq CXC
  • Nasdaq CX2
  • Nasdaq CXD

Why is Nasdaq Introducing a Basic Canada Enterprise License?

Nasdaq is introducing a Basic Canada Enterprise License to provide cost savings to Investment Dealers through a fixed rate for unlimited distribution to Professional and Non-Professional natural persons. Nasdaq is also easing the administrative burden of Nasdaq Basic Canada by requiring Investment Dealers taking the Enterprise License to report on an annual basis only.

What is being offered?

In response to customer requests, Nasdaq Canada will offer a Basic Canada Enterprise License at the rate of $100,000 CAD per month. The Enterprise License covers unlimited distribution to Professional and Non-Professional natural persons that have a customer relationship with an Investment Dealer.

This new Enterprise License allows Investment Dealers to distribute real-time market data to a broad customer base of both professional and non-professional users, in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
