Effective Monday, July 24th, 2023 Nasdaq will change the name of the following Indexes on the Nasdaq Global Index Data ServiceSM (GIDS).

What are the indexes?

The Nasdaq Global Disruptive Technology Benchmark Index is designed to track the performance of companies engaged in the following themes: Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Automotive Innovation, Healthcare Innovation, New Energy & Environment, Internet of Things and Data & Computing Processing.

The Nasdaq Global Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Index is designed to track the performance of companies engaged in the following themes: Deep Learning, NLP, Image Recognition, Speech Recognition & Chatbots, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity and Big Data.

The Nasdaq Global Future Mobility Index is designed to track the performance of companies engaged in the following themes: Autonomous Vehicles, Quantum Information & Optics, 3D Graphics, Electric Vehicles, Hybrid Vehicles, Electric Batteries and Lithium Batteries.

The Nasdaq Global Innovative Technologies Index is designed to track the performance of companies engaged in the following themes: Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Automotive innovation, Healthcare Innovation, Internet of Things and Data Computing & Processing.

The Nasdaq Global Innovative Technologies Ex Disputable Index is designed to track the performance of companies that are not engaged in disputable activities but are engaged in the following themes: Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Automotive Innovation, Healthcare Innovation, Internet of Things and Data Computing & Processing.

  • Equities Summary (Message Type F): Disseminated at the end of the U.S. and European trading session to relay the summary of the current trading day's activity for an equity index.
  • Index Directory (Message Type R): Disseminated at the start of each day to relay basic index information.
