Effective Friday, July 31st, 2026, Nasdaq will begin disseminating the following new Indexes on the Nasdaq Global Index Watch (GIW) and the Nasdaq Global Index Data ServiceSM (GIDS).


What are the new indexes?

The Nasdaq-100 30% Managed Volatility 4% Decrement Index is designed to provide leveraged exposure to the Nasdaq-100 Total Return Index (the "Component"), while targeting a 30% level of volatility. The index uses both historical Component and intraday Reference Component prices to calculate realized volatility in order to quickly react to changing market dynamics.

The Nasdaq-100 40% Managed Volatility 6% Decrement Index is designed to provide leveraged exposure to the Nasdaq-100 Total Return Index (the "Component"), while targeting a 40% level of volatility. The index uses both historical Component and intraday Reference Component prices to calculate realized volatility in order to quickly react to changing market dynamics.

How are the Indexes disseminated?

On Friday, July 31st, 2026, data recipients will receive real-time index information from the proprietary GIDS data feed with the following attributes:
