UTP Early Close Schedule for Friday, November 28, 2008 and Wednesday, December 24, 2008

Summary:

  • NASDAQ and the Unlisted Trading Privileges (UTP) Plan participants will close the market three hours early on the following two dates in the fourth quarter of 2008:
    • Friday, November 28, 2008
    • Wednesday, December 24, 2008
  • To accommodate the early closing schedule, the NASDAQ Securities Information Processor (SIP) will modify the dissemination times for closing reports and end-of-day event control messages for the UTP data feeds.
  • Please note that the U.S. equity markets will also be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2008, and Thursday, December 25, 2008, in observation of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Overview:

NASDAQ® and the UTP Plan participants will close three hours early on the following two dates in the fourth quarter of 2008:

  • Friday, November 28, 2008
  • Wednesday, December 24, 2008

On these two days, the early close schedule will be:

Market Session Normal Hours (ET) Early Close Hours (ET)
Pre-Market Trading Session 4:00 a.m. to 9:29 a.m. 4:00 a.m. to 9:29 a.m.
Regular Market Session 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Post-Market Trading Session 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The U.S. equity markets will also be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Thursday, December 25, 2008, in observation of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

UTP Data Feed Schedule for November 28th and December 24th:

To accommodate the early market closing, the NASDAQ Securities Information Processor (SIP) will modify the transmission schedule for the UTP data feeds. On November 28th and December 24th, the NASDAQ SIP will adjust the timing for messages on the following data feeds:
