Nasdaq Updates FINRA/Nasdaq TRF Specifications for FINRA Proposed Rule Change Relating to the Submission of Clearing-Only, Non-Regulatory Reports

As referenced in FINRA Rule Filing 2015-035, the FINRA/Nasdaq TRF will support the amendment to FINRA rules governing the reporting of over-the-counter (OTC) transactions beginning Monday, February 1, 2016.

To support this change, the FINRA/Nasdaq TRF specifications have been updated to include:

  • Clearing-only, Non-Regulatory Reports

Nasdaq strongly recommends participants review the specification changes and submit any questions or feedback.

Updated FIX and CTCI specifications are available in the Post-Trade section of the specifications page.

NTF Testing Information

Support for Clearing Only, Non-Regulatory Reports is expected to be available in the Nasdaq Test Facility (NTF) on November 20, 2015.

Street-Wide Testing Information

The street-wide testing schedule has been updated as follows:

  • Saturday, December 12, 2015 (regular monthly UAT)
  • Saturday, January 9, 2016 (regular monthly UAT)
