What you need to know:

  • The NASDAQ Stock Market, The NASDAQ Options Market, NASDAQ OMX PHLX and PBOT will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2008, and will close early on Friday, November 28, 2008, in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday.
  • NASDAQ OMX will operate on normal operating schedule for its European markets on November 27th and November 28th.

Why is NASDAQ issuing this alert?

The NASDAQ Stock Market®, The NASDAQ Options MarketSM, NASDAQ OMX PHLXSM (PHLX®) and the Philadelphia Board of Trade® (PBOT) will be closed Thursday, November 27, 2008, and will close early on Friday, November 28, 2008, in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday.

NASDAQ OMX will operate on normal operating schedule for its European markets on November 27th and 28th.
