Overview
FIX Lite (Flite) is a modification of the standard FIX protocol used today by a majority of U.S. firms in the securities industry. Flite provides the same superior speed as OUCH while also offering preferred FIX functionality.
NASDAQ supports the FIX protocol version 4.2, 4.1 and 4.0.

- Through an approved direct connectivity or extranet provider.
- Through a Service Bureau that is connected to NASDAQ via FIX.
How to Subscribe
Market participants can subscribe for new connectivity or update an existing service by completing a port request form and faxing it to NASDAQ Subscriber Services at +1 212 231 5426.

Firms must be certified before they can send Flite messages to NASDAQ.
