- Effective immediately, NASDAQ OMX PHLX will increase the tiered position limits for certain narrow-based (industry) sector index options.
What is changing?
Effective immediately, NASDAQ OMX PHLXSM (PHLX®) will increase the three tiered position limits for certain narrow-based (industry) sector index options found in PHLX Rule 1001A.

Which sector indexes are affected?
The position limit increase applies to options on the following indexes:
- PHLX Oil Service Sector (OSX)
- PHLX Semiconductor Sector (SOX)
- PHLX Utility Sector (UTY)
- PHLX Gold/Silver Sector (XAU)
- PHLX Housing Sector (HGX)
- SIG Energy MLP (SVO)
- SIG Oil Exploration & Production (EPX)
- NASDAQ China (CNZ)
