Important Update: Options Underlying Symbol AMTD Will Not Migrate to Trade on the PHLX XL II Platform on June 23, 2009

What you need to know:

  • As announced in Options Trader Alert #2009-22, PHLX will migrate a group of options to trading on the PHLX XL II system on Tuesday, June 23, 2009.
  • Due to a recent corporate action in the underlying issue, AMTD options will not migrate to the XL II system on June 23rd as previously announced.

What is changing?

Due to a recent corporate action in the underlying issue, trading in AMTD options will not migrate to the PHLX XL II (XL II) system on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 as previously announced in Options Trader Alert #2009-22.

How will Good-til-Cancelled orders be treated?

All Good-til-Cancelled (GTC) orders in these underlying symbols will now be unaffected after the close on Monday, June 22, 2009.

Are any other options affected?

No, this change does not affect any other options scheduled to be migrated to trade on the XL II system. Refer to Options Trader Alert #2009-22 for a complete list of securities that will move to the XL II system on June 23rd.
