Regulatory Transaction Fee Rate Adjustment per SEC Section 31

Applicable Nasdaq Exchanges:

  • The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”), The Nasdaq Options Market LLC (“NOM”), Nasdaq Texas, LLC. (“Nasdaq Texas” or “NTX Options”), Nasdaq PHLX LLC (“PHLX” or “PSX”), Nasdaq ISE, LLC (“ISE”), Nasdaq GEMX, LLC (“GEMX”) and Nasdaq MRX, LLC (“MRX”) (collectively “Nasdaq Exchanges”)

     

    Overview:

  • Pursuant to the SEC's Fee Rate Advisory for Fiscal Year 2026, the Securities and Exchange Commission has announced that the Section 31 transaction fee rate applicable to securities transactions on national securities exchanges and over-the-counter markets will be set at $20.60 per million dollars, effective April 4, 2026. Until that date, the prevailing rate of $0.00 per million dollars will remain in effect.

     

  • On all Nasdaq Exchanges, Nasdaq will adjust the Regulatory Transaction fee to reflect the new rate of $20.60 per million dollars for trades settling on or after April 4, 2026. This adjustment applies to all sell transactions executed on or after the trade date of April 2, 2026.
