NOM Updates CTI Specifications to Support Contra Capacity

What is changing?
NASDAQ Options MarketSM (NOM) is updating the Clearing Trade Interface (CTI) specification to support the populating of Contra Side Clearing Capacity at offset 191of a trade message. The Contra Side Clearing Capacity is a one-character field indicating the capacity of the contra side participant on the trade. Currently, offset 191 is blank.
This change will be introduced on CTI beginning Tuesday, May 29, 2012, and will be in effect for all trade messages on CTI on Thursday, May 31, 2012.
Are there any additional changes?
CTI specification has also been modified to clarify when the Origin Market, Order Date, and Short Sell Indicator may be blank or populated with a ‘0’.
