Ordering a Cabinet

To order a Cabinet, choose the “Cabinets & U Space” link in the Place Order section (on top of the page) and then choose “New Cabinet." Cabinets are ordered one configuration at a time. To order more than one type, use the “Add cabinet configuration” button to create a new tab where you can add a different configuration or density.

  • Quantity: You will need to determine the quantity of cabinets you will require within the facility. The cabinets in the legacy CoLo space are 24" W X 36" D Wright Line VantageTM. The cabinets in the expansion CoLo space are 24” W X 40” D Wright Line ParamountTM.
  • Power: As you make your power choices, the density wil automatically be calculated for you at the bottom of the screen. You will need to determine the power requirements for each of your cabinets. Power is provided in an A/B configuration where power is separately sourced and provided to each circuit. However, as it is considered a backup, you can consume no more power out of both circuits than you can consume out of one. In addition, your power use is limited to 80% of maximum power, which is an industry standard limit. Please note that if you consume more than 80% of maximum power over both circuits, you risk a cascading circuit failure. Furthermore, you will not be in compliance with NASDAQ policy and will be subject to additional circuit fees. If you purchase 110V power, If you are unsure of your power requirements or would like to request a power type not listed, please call your NASDAQ Technical Services Representatives to schedule a discussion.
  • Power Strip: Power distribution unit (PDU). For 120 volt power, power strips can be provided by Verizon or the customer (vertical or horizontal). For 208 volt power, power strips must be provided by the customer (vertical or horizontal).
  • Receptacle: NEMA connectors (power plugs). Customers can select the default type or specify other type.
  • Perforated Floor Tile: A perforated tile will be placed in the cold-aisle for cabinets that have more than 5kW. Additional tiles are required for SuperCabs.
  • Door Fan: Door Fans are available if you require available power greater than 5kW for a cabinet.
  • Multi Firm: Select YES if the cabinet supports a firm other than the firm contracted to receive the cabinet by NASDAQ Technology Services.
  • Key Locks: Order one master key for all cabinets for your firm.
  • Specialty Cabinet: Firms have the option of bringing in their own cabinet, however NASDAQ requires that they provide height, width, depth and weight information when placing an order. There is an additional charge per cabinet for cabinets greater than 24” wide. It is $500 per 6” increment. It is two times the ongoing cabinet fee if the cabinet is greater than or equal to 48” wide.
