At a special meeting held on September 4, 2024, the shareholders of Alimera Sciences, Inc. (ALIM) approved the proposed merger with and into ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. The merger closed prior to the market open on September 16, 2024. In anticipation of the closing, the stock was halted immediately following the after-hours session at or around 7:50 p.m. on September 13, 2024. If the merger closes as anticipated, the stock will remain halted on the day of closing (September 16th) and will be suspended effective September 17, 2024. The details are as follows:
