What you need to know:

  • ETPs eligible for Tier 1 of the Limit Up/Limit Down Plan will be updated starting Thursday, January 2, 2014.

What is happening?

NASDAQ OMX® in conjunction with other listing exchanges has updated the list of ETPs eligible for Tier 1 of the Limit Up/Limit Down Plan (LULD Plan). The updated list of Tier 1 ETPs can be found here and will be effective as of Thursday, January 2, 2014.

What symbols will be moved from Tier 1 to Tier 2?

The following NASDAQ listed symbols will be moved from Tier 1 to Tier 2 starting Thursday, January 2, 2014:

EEMA iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Asia Fund
VGLT Vanguard Long-Term Government Bond Fund
VWOB Vanguard Emerging Markets Government Bond
VGIT Vanguard Intermediate Term Government Bond
WOOD iShares S&P Global Timber & forestry Index Fund
ISHG iShares S&P/Citigroup 1-3 Year Int’l Treasury Fund
