  • Beginning February 4, 2013, NASDAQ OMX will offer customers transparency into their order flow latency through QView Latency Optics.
  • The initial rollout will include the NASDAQ market only, and will be offered as a free beta period beginning through March 31.

What is launching?

Beginning February 4, 2013, NASDAQ OMX will offer customers transparency into their order flow latency through QView Latency Optics. Using this tool, customers receive an overview of their roundtrip Order to Acknowledgement, Order to Book (software & FPGA), and Cancel to Out with the ability to drill down to specific time frames. Latency Optics is available as an add-on to NASDAQ OMX QView.

What are the key benefits?

  • Detailed session latency statistics within a respective MPID
  • Drill down to specific sessions to view min/max/averages
  • Compare your latency to the NASDAQ average for your connectivity method
  • View latency categories by percentile and drill down by time interval to analyze trends
