As previously announced in ETA2024-62, ETA2025-7, and ETA2025-36, Nasdaq is retiring Legacy TRF FIX ports. FINRA/Nasdaq TRF participants who utilize legacy TRF FIX ports for FINRA/Nasdaq TRF Carteret™ reporting are required to migrate to Native TRF FIX 4.2 to avoid TRF FIX service disruption. For more information about how to order Native TRF FIX ports and testing, please refer to the previous Equity Trader Alerts. Please note the change to the effective dates below: Nasdaq is providing a service extension and will retire Legacy TRF FIX port services on September 30th, 2025 instead of the previously announced June 30th, 2025 deadline. Any legacy TRF FIX ports which have not been cancelled by September 30th, 2025, will be automatically terminated on October 1st, 2025. Firms who previously requested TRF Native FIX ports and did not submit a port removal request for Legacy TRF FIX ports, may contact Subscriber Services by email to confirm their TRF FIX port migration has been completed to avoid duplicate FIX port billing. From now until September 30th, clients may use legacy and Native FIX concurrently to ensure a successful transition. Clients are not required to maintain a FIX parallel period and can migrate to the Native FIX service as soon as they are ready. Clients may cancel their legacy FIX ports at any time by submitting a FINRA Services Port Request Form. For any questions, please reach out to Subscriber Services or Trading Services with any questions you have for the respective departments.
