UPDATE IN TIMING: Nasdaq Introduces Order Port Level Purging Functionality

As previously announced in ETA 2024-11, The Nasdaq Stock Market (Nasdaq), Nasdaq BX, and Nasdaq PSX introduced order port level purging functionality on the OUCH 5.0 and RASH FIX protocols. The new functionality allows users to cancel open orders and disable/re-enable order entry on a given port. The initial implementation only included the ability to cancel open orders. The exchanges will now be rolling out the ability to disable/re-enable order entry on a given port.

This feature will be made available on an exchange-by-exchange basis:

PSX: August 25th

BX: September 3rd

Nasdaq: September 8th

Testing Opportunities

Testing is currently available in the Nasdaq Testing Facility (NTF).

The Saturday UAT production testing opportunity will be on August 9th.
