NASDAQ Extends Deadline for Completion of Sponsored Access Agreements to Friday, June 13, 2008

  • As announced in Regulatory Alert #2007-022, NASDAQ filed a Sponsored Access Rule with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that became effective on February 16, 2007.
  • The deadline for completing the agreements required by this new Sponsored Access Rule has been extended to Friday, June 13, 2008.

What is changing?

As announced in Regulatory Alert #2007-022, NASDAQ® filed a Sponsored Access Rule with the SEC that became effective on February 16, 2007. Firms that provide direct connectivity to NASDAQ and their Sponsored Participants must complete agreements required by the new Sponsored Access Rule.

The new deadline for completing the agreements is Friday, June 13, 2008.
