REMINDER: 2023 Failover and Market Wide Circuit Breaker Testing Schedule

What you need to know:

  • As previously announced, the SIP's will conduct data center failover testing to the secondary data center as well as Market-Wide Circuit Breaker (MWCB) Breach Level 1 and 2 (7% breach and 13% breach) testing with the industry exchanges on Saturday, July 22, 2023. All Data Subscribers are invited to participate in this test to validate the expected processing within their systems.

  • Testing will be conducted between 9:00 - 12:00 a.m. ET. Specific failover times will be unannounced in order to simulate unexpected real-time occurrences.

  • Remaining Testing Schedule for 2023 is as follows:
    • Saturday, July 22, 2023 (Failover; MWCB Level 1 & 2 Test #2)
    • Saturday, September 9, 2023 (Dedicated MWCB Level 1, 2 & 3)
    • Saturday, December 3, 2023 (Failover; MWCB Level 1 & 2 Test #3)
