NASDAQ OMX to Retire the Web Interface for Historical ITCH Data Effective November 1, 2012

What is being announced?
Effective Thursday, November 1, 2012, NASDAQ OMX will retire the web interface for historical ITCH data at itchdata.nasdaq.com.
Historical ITCH data will still be available via the FTP protocol interface. Customers accessing the data outside of the web interface will see no changes. Automated processes using data retrieved via the FTP protocol will not be affected.
How do I access the FTP Protocol?
Please refer to the Web-Based Specification page for technical specifications for the data products. The Secured FTP Specifications for each product has been provided below:
- Secure FTP Protocol Interface for Historical TotalView-ITCH
- Secure FTP Protocol Interface for BX Historical TotalView-ITCH
- Historical NASDAQ Velocity and Forces FTP Server Directions
- Historical NASDAQ Market Pathfinders FTP Server Directions
Although secure, the FTP protocol can be accessed via the various FTP solutions available on the internet. Customers that only use the web interface will use their current login credentials to access the FTP interface.
