What are the new indexes?
The PHLX Semiconductor 20% Daily Covered Call Index (SOX20DCI) tracks the performance of a systematic at-the-money 20% partial coverage short call strategy. The strategy aims to provide specific coverage to the underlying PHLX Semiconductor Sector Total Return Index (XSOX) using Nasdaq-100 Index® (NDX®) short call options, typically with one day to expiration.
The PHLX Semiconductor 20% Daily Covered Call Only Index (SOX20DCO) tracks the performance of a systematic at-the-money 20% partial coverage short call strategy. The strategy measures the performance of only the short call portion of the PHLX Semiconductor 20% Daily Covered Call Index (SOX20DCI). The Call Only Index includes a cash account but does not include a long underlying PHLX Semiconductor Sector Total Return Index position.
How are the Indexes disseminated?
On Friday, August 28th, 2026, data recipients will receive real-time index information from the proprietary GIDS data feed with the following attributes:
