NASDAQ OMX BX Options Announces Lead Market Maker Allocations and Lead Market Maker Priority Overlay

Beginning on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, BX Options will permit approved BX Options Market Makers to act as Lead Market Makers (LMM’s) in one or more listed options. LMM’s will be entitled to certain participation entitlements as specified in recently approved rules.

The allocation list, with respective LMMs and the effective date per symbol of the Lead Market Maker Priority Overlay, can be found here.

Lead Market Makers will need to contact Market Operations to designate the proper account number to use for their LMM status. If additional account numbers are needed, an application should be submitted to NASDAQ OMX Membership.
