As referenced in OTA#2016–20, we would like to share additional information regarding the migration of the Nasdaq MRX (MRX), formally ISE Mercury, option exchange to Nasdaq’s INET technology.

MRX is targeted to begin migration to the INET technology on Monday, August 14, 2017. The migration is expected to complete on Monday, August 28, 2017. Throughout the migration, MRX Members, with the exception of FIX Interface users, will need to utilize existing connectivity in NY4 to access symbols which have not yet migrated to the INET technology and new connectivity in Carteret to access symbols which have migrated. Current connectivity through the legacy FIX Interface will be bridged to access both legacy T7 MRX and MRX INET. However, this FIX interface bridge will be decommissioned on September 15, 2017. By September 15, 2017, Members will need to migrate to direct INET FIX connections.

The MRX test system is expected to be available to Members on July 17, 2017. In addition, the Exchange anticipates hosting production UATs for Members on Saturday, August 5, 2017 and Saturday, August 12, 2017.
