Nasdaq Options Exchanges to Observe National Day of Mourning on December 5, 2018

    To honor the memory of former President George H.W. Bush, Nasdaq Options Exchanges will be observing the National Day of Mourning and will be closed for trading on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Normal trading will resume on Thursday, December 6, 2018.

    Nasdaq will be following the procedures outlined below:

    OCC Processing Procedures

    Submission of Contrary Exercise

    • Nasdaq Options Exchanges will be extending the cutoff window for Submission of Contrary Exercise processing until 10:00 AM ET on Wednesday.

    Nasdaq 100 Index Options

    • NDXP option series with an expiration date of December 5, 2018 will close at 4:00pm ET on December 4, 2018. All other non-expiring NDX and NDXP series will continue to trade until 4:15pm ET on December 4, 2018. The closing settlement value of the Nasdaq 100 (XQC) can be found here: https://indexes.nasdaqomx.com/Index/History/XQC
