The previously announced merger between Hampton Roads Bankshares, Inc. (HMPR) and Xenith Bankshares, Inc. (XBKS) will be effective as of 5:00 PM ET today. Xenith Bankshares, Inc. Common Stock (XBKS) will be suspended from trading effective August 1, 2016.

Hampton Roads Bankshares, Inc. (HMPR) will be the surviving entity and will have a name change to Xenith Bankshares, Inc. and will assume the ticker symbol XBKS.
